The hero that
almost never was.
Even after landing a professional book deal, I quit comics. Yup, that sounds depressing.
Luckily, one day (on a beach in Bali, of all places), I started sketching again...just for fun.
What began as a throwaway idea turned into Zapowski.No rules. No formula. Sometimes deep, sometimes dumb. Always different.
I don’t know exactly what this comic is going to become, but I’m giving it a shot.
Maybe you will too.

The Characters
Zapowski
Smart, short, and armed to the teeth, Zapowski (Zapo) is a lone operator in a galaxy that refuses to make sense. He doesn’t trust magic, gods, or people who smile too much. What he does trust? Cold logic, heavy weapons, and his own broken instincts.While bounty hunting keeps him busy, he’s secretly chasing something else: the truth about where he came from, and why he doesn’t quite fit anywhere.
Nim
Nimeria (Nim for short) is a Galaxy Cat, born from stardust and silence, with stars and worlds woven into the trail of her tail. A guardian of cosmic balance, she walks the line between fate and free will.
But now, she’s chasing something personal: the being who killed her sister. To find them, she made a deal with Zapo, a decision she’s starting to question :-)
Thump
Thump is a shapeshifter, hustler, and eternal optimist, and somehow also Zapo’s best friend.
They couldn’t be more different. But when things get rough, it’s Thump who always shows up.
He’s got street-smarts, strange contacts in every corner of the galaxy, and a knack for finding the one backdoor nobody else saw.
No one knows exactly what Thump is, not even Thump himself.
Finn
Once a respected captain in the royal army, Finn’s life nosedived after the war was lost. He lost his status, his purpose, and eventually himself.Now he’s just a washed-up ex-soldier with a big debt. Somewhere along the way, something slipped inside him: a fragment of an Emotari, a parasitic entity that feeds on broken souls.Zapo doesn’t care. Nim’s sister is dead, and the Emotari is the prime suspect. So they’re using Finn as bait. No one’s asking how he feels about that.
